Dream Job

Our class visited D1 in Cookeville (who knew there was a D1 here?!?!) and instead of being all about a certain sport, they solely focused on training in the weight room. Me, wanting to be an athletic trainer and all, really enjoyed seeing what all an instructor at D1 does everyday. I am really interested in doing job shadowing or even asking about internship here. This trip excited me about the future possibilities and showed me things that I never realized before!

This is the link to the quick 1 page report I turned in about our visit :)

CDC Classroom

When I was a senior in high school at Mt. Juliet I took a class where I had to be a student teacher for the CDC classroom. I was moved so much by it and loved it so tremendously that I went back and did job shadowing this past November. Being a caretaker for someone who is considered to be handicapped seems very intimidating, but for me, it was the most rewarding thing I have ever experienced. I would encourage everyone to take a class such as that like MJ has or volunteer to help somewhere and just meet these kids! :)

This is one of the pictures from our class!

My First Resume Everrrrrrrrr

The link below is my first resume ever! I think it is a little short... but I have a lot of time to accomplish more things in life. I also have had only one job ever since I turned 17. My resume will grow with a little more time and involvement. http://www.mediafire.com/?v02u2yqjq1m

My Fantastic Adventure to Prescott!

On December 7 all of our class took a trip to Prescott Middle School right behind Tech. Best class we have had all semester! This is my 1 page paper I turned in talking about our experience. http://www.mediafire.com/?fjzijzmmztl
